A Word from Carol ~ September 2020

Dear Friends,

I greet you from Zambia and pray all are safe amidst these turbulent times.  In the absence of my annual fund-raising trip, we find ourselves in great need and ask for your continued support despite my absence.

Things are well here.  Coronavirus has not impacted Zambia as severely as most other countries.  As the college students went off to school in June, I found myself teaching English. The Salesian Brothers joined us to teach Math and Science.  School continues in all 3 homes. With the neighbor children joining us, we ended up hosting mini community schools with great success

School is back in full swing for 3rd term and I have moved into Redemption House for the next few months to give Jonathan some hard-earned time off. I am truly enjoying the older boys.  They have matured beautifully under Jonathan's care and the fruits of our labor are blossoming.

This newsletter is not our traditional format, but rather highlights our Action for Children Zambia (AFCZ) children’s writings.  They wanted to share their personal stories with you to let you know how much they appreciate each and every one of you.  As you read though their letters and notes, I hope you will feel their appreciation.

Together, we have changed many lives.  We have influenced children in both small and huge ways, creating a productive and positive impact in this country forever

We love you.  We pray for you every day. Without you, we could not exist.

May God bless you and bring peace and prosperity into your homes.
